- Ensure compliance with accounting law, tax law (including but not limited to VAT, PIT, CIT), corporate policies, and other applicable regulations. Ensure all accounting works being managed properly in compliance with internal regulations, international standards (IFRS), applicable accounting standards in Vietnam as well as related laws and regulations.
- Appear in the role of the Chief Accountant in cases required by Vietnamese laws/regulations. And Sign accounting real accounting-related ongoing documents which Law requires on accounting and related guidance as assigned by Management under POA.
- Oversee and manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to ensure accuracy and compliance with Vietnamese regulations and international standards (IFRS). Sign financial statements following the requirement of Law on accounting and related guidance and the company's project documents.
- Sign Tax inspection minutes, results, conclusion and related documents as required during the ongoing tax inspection by Tax department.
- Manage all tax activities including but not limited to submit tax declaration, refund, exemption, finalization; deal with issues on taxation in consideration of company's benefit.
- Lead and manage the annual audit process, working closely with external auditors.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of accounting reports.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust accounting policies, systems, and procedures.
- Mentor and manage a team of accounting professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and growth.
- Provide accounting assessment and recommendation to company activities via the proper management of cross-function activities (i.e.: PRS/bidding/contract review) Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including HQ in Korea, to align financial reporting and policies.
- Other tasks given by Managers and Directors.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or higher
• Certificate of Chief Accountant (required) as prescribed by the Vietnamese Finance Ministry.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and tax, finance, with more than 5 years of experiences in manager position.
• Knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and familiarity with IFRS.
• Management skill in negotiation with Ministries and Authorities in terms of accounting and tax regulation.
