- Setting up and leading estimation department

- Prepares RFQ for estimation purpose on studying and pre-construction phase,

- Prepare and forecast cash flow at estimation and contractual phase with Client.

- Working closely with Project Director to set up suitable work breakdown structure, initial procurement plan and procurement matrix for estimation purpose.

- Reviews work specifications, take-off quantity, costing and liaise with contractors and suppliers during studying phase.

- Arrange proper transfer of budget from studying phase to procurement and construction phase.

- Understands the contractual terms and works to ensure that other stakeholders such as Project Team Members, Accounts and Finance understands and complies with the terms

- Assists Project Director with all daily commercial/contract operations at studying phases including coverage of duties in his absence

- Provides effective support to Project Team and establish good working relationship with Project Managers, Clients, contractors, and suppliers

- Assists in resolving contractual and commercial issues with clients

- Co-ordinates with procurement manager to ensure expenses within budget

- Working closely with Procurement Manager to maintain qualified vendor list.

- Liaise with Procurement manager to capture lesson learnt from procurement phase to improve estimation process.

- Negotiates with vendors for cost reduction and optimization of their offer during studying phase.

- Assists to coach and train junior Quantity Surveyors.

Yêu cầu công việc

- Degree in Quantity Surveying/Building Sciences/Engineer.

- Overall understanding of industrial engineering, estimation, procurement, and construction.

- Good knowledge of Standard Forms of Contrat.

- Deep experience in MEP.

- Fluent English in both writing & speaking.

- French speaking is a plus.

* Years of Experience:

- Minimum 10-year professional working experience in quantity surveying.

- 3-5 year-experience as managerial positions in construction company.
