- Responsible for the direct sales process, aiming at meeting and/or exceeding sales and profitability margin targets with designated account(s).
- Expand profits, market position / share, introduce new products / solutions to clients and organize visits to current and potential clients.
- Prepare and submit short and mid-range sales plans to reach nominated targets. Support the development of demand forecast in own area.
- Maintain a high level of market intelligence by monitoring the performance of competition product and analyzing price change trend through close contact with customer.
- Retain and intensify long-term customer relationships with established accounts that will generate future sales and repeat business.
- Provide the necessary technical support on site, for example equipment maintenance. Help to solve the application problem if needed. Coordinate with regional application team regarding lab/plant trial.
- Manage trade receivables and delivery/invoicing claims.
- Work with Sales Operation, Purchase & Logistics, Finance and Equipment coordinators to perform their function as needed.
- Conduct trials and chemical optimization for Kemira’s Pulp & Paper Chemicals at the customer site to ensure the customer receives the most efficient chemical applications.
- University degree in Chemistry, Papermaking or relevant.
- 3 years or above paper sales industry experience in tech service for Chemical products, technical manager in Pulp & Paper industry is preferred.
- Pulp & Paper chemical knowledge is a Must.
- Good interpersonal skills and cooperation spirit.
- Customer oriented.
- Able to travel.
- Proficiency in verbal/written English.
- Communication skill in Chinese language is an important plus.
