· Production Management: Plan and organize production schedules, allocate labor and equipment resources efficiently, and monitor production output to meet targets.
· Quality Control & Food Safety: Collaborate with quality control managers to establish, execute, and monitor quality control processes. Ensure strict compliance with all applicable regulatory food safety guidelines and certifications (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO) to prevent contamination.
· Operations & Maintenance: Ensure all machinery and equipment are in good working order through routine maintenance scheduling. Manage facility and equipment audits and implement process improvements.
· Staff Leadership & Development: Hire, train, motivate, and supervise factory workers. Provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities, manage work schedules, and evaluate performance.
· Inventory & Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to manage raw material and operating supply inventories, ensuring cost-effectiveness and preventing shortages.
· Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Maintain accurate production documentation and data, and prepare detailed reports for senior management.
· Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives and project teams focused on continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, safety, and cost reduction, often applying principles like Lean or Six Sigma.
· Client tour management: planning, execution, and follow-up to build trust, showcase capabilities, and strengthen business relationships.
Yêu cầu công việc
· Proven experience in a food manufacturing or processing environment, with several years in a managerial role.
· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Knowledge of quality management systems and certifications (HACCP, GMP, etc.).
· Ability to analyze production data and financial reports to guide decision-making.
· Understanding of safety protocols (e.g., OSHA) and environmental compliance.
· A relevant degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a comparable field is often preferred.
