About this team

Inbound logistics origin team is overseeing the Global Transportation from manufacturing factory locations to distribution center locations worldwide including North America, Europe, and Asia. The goal for the team is to ensure the shipment will be delivered to the right place on schedule according to our business needs.

A day in the life:

·         Manage daily origin operation and provide clear operations guidelines to all team members.

·         Being the first escalation point of resolving irregular issues, communication with internal teams and finished good vendors (FGV) & logistics service providers (LSPs)

·         Manage logistics service providers (LSPs) operation and performance to ensure the movement of freight is driven in the most effective way and in a timely manner.

·         Develop and implement process improvements for daily operation at origin.

·         Support manager to execute initiatives and manage changes with all internal and external partners, including but not limited to production, factories, logistics service providers and destination logistics team.

·         Drive and execute optimization opportunities across Vietnam and other neighboring countries.

·         Responsible for implementing new projects for business needs.

·         Establish and enhance good relationships with all cross functional stakeholders.

·         Able to flag any irregularities to line manager and be main back up for line manager.

Qualifications:

·         5-7 years plus working experience within international logistics, supply chain operations. Having well understanding about logistics market in Vietnam and neighboring countries is a plus.

·         University graduate in Logistics/ Supply Chain Management or related disciplines is preferred.

·         Well understanding and practical knowledge of retail environment and international transportation

·         Excellent PC skills for quantitative analysis and presentation. Experience in using Infor Nexus is a plus.

·         Excellent command in Vietnamese and English
